Who We Are

About The Common Orchard Project

We co-create a more compassionate and productive community as we invest in our vacant land and grow food and other useful materials as close to people as possible. We address disinvestment by creating collective land ownership held in trust and protecting vacant land for affordable future development.

Between 10 (soon 20) vacant lot orchards, a 2 acre Perennial Farm in Camp Washington, and hundreds of neighbors and partners, we are regrowing the Common Land that often gets termed “blighted”.
